Couldn’t believe my ears when I heard this Star Fucking Hipsters cover of Ana Ng!

This is awesome and I feel like I’m probably part of a very small niche audience this cover was done for XP

The Distillers - For Tonight You’re Only Here to Know

Because I was a little punkling once.

This is actually my favorite Green Day video because to me, this is the only video they have that really captures the essence and energy of the band themselves. It’s so simple and yet explosive and and fast and fun as hell at the same time. To me it really feels as strong and energized and powerful as their live performances, which is where Green Day tends to shine brightest, and so many of their other videos just don’t capture that essence like this one (there’s a reason Green Day really isn’t known for their music videos).

This video was actually directed by Sam Bayer, who also directed the video for Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” another video that really captures the essence of the band and their music at the peak of their career. When people think of who Nirvana were, they think of that video. And when I think about the essence of Green Day and who they are, I think of the video for “American Idiot.”

Youtube version of my song “Ramona Flowers”

Now with more Ramona! (cosplayed by my amazing friend Christine!)

"Ramona Flowers" by Ryan Biggins

New original song of mine about everybody’s favorite Manic Pixie Dream Girl!

Mystery and wonder
From the center of New York
Manic pixie dream girl
With a shoelace ‘round your neck

Your hair is glowing rainbows
And your eyes full of regret
Dancing off to Joy Division
Trying to forget

Your spirit’s so dizzy
With the chaos of your past
Slipping into Subspace
When you knew it wouldn’t last
You know you kick all kinds of ass
So honey don’t you frown
It’s time to bring that hammer down

Ramona
The flower of Toronto
But you think it’s just a game you’re gonna lose
Ramona
We’ll follow you wherever
Can you leave this world behind without a bruise?
Well I know you can’t sleep, A ghost in your dreams
But you gotta keep your chin up all the way
And though you try too hard just to run away from trouble
Know you’re gonna find your life someday

7 Evil Exes
Wanna burn your love life down
Gideon’s flying off the handle
Tearin’ up the town

Looking for a friend
But it’s a thousand miles away
Now you’re home alone
Thinking that everybody leaves

Who knows all your secrets
When you’re stuck inside your head
Life is like a comic book
With nothing left unsaid
Coming back together
With the power of love
You know who we’re thinking of

I know you said you’d never be so brave
You thought that you could never change
Oh girl, your life is strange

Don’t forget to like and reblog! Thanks for listening! :D
